Launched in 1994 to promote dialogue on nuclear and energy issues.

WEN’s Response

We participated in the open school hosted by the Atomic Energy Society of Japan almost 80 times in total as WEN.
The open school was held at Hokkaido University and Tokyo City University, and we had a dialogue with visitors to each university’s university festival.

The public event will feature the following content

• ●Providing information on radiation, energy and waste (Panel displays and Distribution of booklet )
• ●Hands-on event to learn about radiation (Measurement of natural radiation using a Geiger-Müller counter,Observation in a cloud chamber and Quiz)
• ●Dialogue activities regarding radiation, energy and waste.
